Tips and Tricks

Need help?

Need help?

I couldn’t help but notice in going through some of the web stats, especially yesterday and even so far today, that a lot of you coming here hit the articles through Google searches looking for help. Specifically, around my review of “The Force Unleashed”, I’ve gotten a good number of search hits on “how do I defeat rogue jedi” and “rogue jedi help”, thing like that. So, I’ve decided to add a new category and occasional posting topic called “Tips and Tricks”, where I can answer questions that readers send in. How it works, after the jump.

Now, there are several ways to ask questions if either what I have in the reviews doesn’t make sense or creates more questions than they answer, or maybe I’ve reveiwed a game and you need some help in getting through a tough part. Or, maybe it’s even something in Windows, Mac OS, web browsers, or other applications that I might know something about. I am, after all, a geek. And if it’s something I don’t know, I love to learn about things myself so it would give me a challenge to answer the question, which I’d love to take on.

So, that being said, you can leave questions in a number of ways. You can either respond to the posting with a question, then it becomes a discussion thread and answers will come there. You can send me an email at andy@geektalkstech.com where I can either answer the question directly or add it to a new post where everyone can benefit. You can follow me on Twitter and ask questions directly there to me as well. Click on the Category listing for “Tips and Tricks” on the right side of the blog, and it will show you all the postings where I’ve put tips for various things as well, so it’s possible I’ve already answered the question you’re looking for too. I’m looking forward to helping anyone stumbling upon the blog looking for answers.
