Tyrol strikes again, reveals Cylon history
September 25, 2008 by Andy Martin · 2 Comments
io9 put out a major spoiler this morning that goes into the history of the Cylons from the current Battlestar Galactica series. Aaron Douglas apparently has a tough time keeping what he knows to himself these days (see previous entry on his comments at Dragon*Con), and in an interview with SFX Magazine, he dropped a huge bomb. Be careful, after the jump thar be spoilers.

Caprica - What we know so far

Roving reporter Beth reminded me of the first official trailer for Caprica, which debuted in late July on the SCI-FI network site. We still don’t have an official date for the actual TV movie / mini-series / full series, but there’s a lot that we do know so far:
Follow up on McCain-BSG connection

Earlier I put up a post around John McCain and Sarah Palin bearing a striking resemblance to Col. Saul Tigh and President Laura Roslyn from Battlestar Galactica. I started thinking about it more today, and realized that John McCain’s wife, Cindy, also bears a strong resemblance to Tigh’s wife, Ellen (though admittedly not as strong as John and Saul). What the frak? Maybe no BSG until April 2009?

Geeks Of Doom reports that during a cast panel at Dragon*Con 2008, Aaron Douglas (Chief Tyrol) remarked that the final 10 episodes of Battlestar Galactica might not air until April 2008, adding that the “SCI-FI Network sucks”. That last line got a big round of applause by the conference attendees. Read more
McCain/Palin could be the BSG ticket, lead to better Human/Cylon relations

The writers at io9 found this gem going around originally posted by Burnlab. The resemblance is scary. I loved the original presidential ticket of Roslyn/Adama, or better yet Roslyn/Airlock, but I’m not sure she’s ready to be the VP to Col. Tigh.
*UPDATE* New post here adding Cindy McCain to the mix
